M.I.A. aka Mathangi “Maya” Arulpragasam is building a school in Liberia. M.I.A. has traveled to Liberia before. Her albums include Arular and Kala. Her most popular single to date is “Paper Planes”. She also did a mixtape called “Piracy Funds Terrorism, vol. 1″ with Diplo. Besides music, M.I.A. is involved in art, fashion, and film-making.
